Loren Benson

Loren brings to Construction System Inc. a diverse knowledge and matching skills in architecture and construction. He brings his ability to identify building deficiencies, evaluate on-site requirements as well as design projects, facility redevelopment, evaluate system/codes/contracts and research operating cost reduction. He is experienced in design/build of medical facilities, educational institutions, retail, multi residental units, corporate office spaces, and industrial projects.

Loren has held architectural licenses in Illinois, Iowa, Florida, Missouri, Kansas, Michigan and Oklahoma, and an NCARB certification. He also held the Class 'A' general contractor's license in Florida.

Loren prepared evaluation studies for facilities at the medical campus of the University of Chicago. He provided estimates for deficiencies corrections as identified in the evaluation. He has directed projects whose cost ranged between $8MM and $150MM.

He is the author of several management corporate documents as well as general conditions and support documents for hiring consultants and contracting for construction, materials and equipment.

As an engineer, Loren oversaw the updating of an existing hydraulics plant to utilize new computerized manufacturing systems and equipment. He also was manager of Deere & Co. Air Force and support staff. He was instrumental in converting a warehouse into a computer center in less than thirty days for a power company in Florida.

Loren is a valuable addition to CSI for contracts review, documents review, and project assessment among his other duties as our Sr. Project Manager.
